Morning sickness blues :(

I've heard so many different stories of other people being really sick with their first baby & not being sick at all with their second but clearly that's not the case for me :( When I found out, I was super excited that I wasn't feeling sick again but I definetly spoke too soon. I don't think anything is worse than craving a Wawa hoagie, chik fil a fries & a Wendy's frosty but only being able to eat a piece of toast. This baby is definitely a blessing in everyway, but I just wish the sickness didn't come along with it!

It's hard for me this time around because I constantly feel like bubble guppies
re-runs & waffles is all I can do for Sofia right now. I know she's still a toddler so she doesn't really know the difference, as long as she has a clean diaper & a warm bed :) I try to remind myself everyday that this too shall pass and it will all be worth it in the end, even for Sofia who will get to be a big sister!

I've been drinking ginger ale, sneaking in as many naps as I can when Daniels home for lunch etc & pretty much every other Pinterest morning sickness remedy I can find. Please share what has worked for YOU! I would love to hear some new ideas and trust me I'm up for trying anything :)

oh, baby.

Hi everyone! I know its been awhile, but I felt like it would be nice to get some of my thoughts out on my blog :) As you probably know, We're expecting baby number 2! I totally thought I was going to luck out and skip the morning sickness this time around, but I was definitely wrong. Some nights I cry myself to sleep, because I want to be there for Sofia...I want to play and be normal with her but this sickness has me stuck in bed :( I've been trying to fill my time with pinterest and my baby board. My heart aches every second I don't see Sofia's beautiful little face. Maybe I'm being dramatic, but I'm allowed to be right? ;)

Daniel & I talk a lot about baby names...well, I mostly talk to him about it and he pretends to listen. We BOTH have decided on a girl name, which is super crazy if you know Daniel. Sometimes you just hear a name and it feels right! We have some ideas for boys, but nothing has really stuck with us yet.

What's everyone's favorite pregnancy products? I saw some things on morning sickness, I'm going to try freezing Gatorade into Ice cubes. I'm also going to order a pregnancy pillow because lets face it, what's really better than a pillow the size of your bed? haha. I know deep down in my soul, that Chik Fil a is the answer to my morning sickness but unfortunately, that's not an option in Germany. I have my first appointment tomorrow at my doctors office in Amberg! (conveniently located right near City Grill and Mcdonalds).  He is the same doctor I had with Sofia :) I feel like i'm rambling, but I will update on my appointment tomorrow and some BABY products I've been looking at...goodnight everyone!

Toddler breakfast Idea!

Hi everyone! It's been forever since I blogged but I have a lot going on lately :) I'm getting ready for my parents to come in a few weeks & trying to get ready for Sofia's FIRST birthday party! I can't believe my little baby is turning one....with that being said, she's a little crazy and its hard to keep up sometimes. Our furniture is arriving from IKEA today for our bedroom and I'm super excited about it. Whenever I'm really excited about something, I wait for something to go wrong...they bring the wrong furniture ect. So I'm crossing my fingers! I wanted to share a quick and easy toddler breakfast that Sofia loves and also wanted to ask what would you like to see on the blog? I need ideas! Just comment on the Facebook link or wherever and I'll be sure to blog whatever you guys would like to see :)

Okay, so for an easy toddler breakfast I just slice up bananas, then I dip the banana in some pancake batter (I just use the pre-made pancake mix where you just add water), Put them on the stove like a normal pancake and you can also drizzle a little more batter on top...and you're done! Perfect little banana pancakes :) Hope your littles love this as much as Sof does :D & DONT FORGET, I need ideas for more blogs!
